Treatment and Services
- Stomach aches and pains Stomach flu causes a child's stomach and digestive tract inflammation, usually triggering vomiting, diarrhea, and fever. Stomach flu is the second most common illness kids get, after respiratory infections like colds.
- Pink Eye The eye infection conjunctivitis, often called pinkeye is. It's usually contagious, and breakouts can spread through preschools. It's essential to see a doctor. Some kinds of pinkeye go away independently, but others need treatment.
- Allergies Symptoms include a runny and itchy nose, sneezing, postnasal drip, and nasal congestion. Anyone with allergies may also have itchy, watery, red eyes and chronic ear problems.
- Earache Causes can be fluid behind the eardrum, an infection in the middle part of the ear, or an infection in the ear canal (swimmer's ear). Kids under five are at a higher risk for ear infections, especially after upper respiratory infections.
- Rashes & Bites We treat bug bites, rash, swelling, redness, and itching. Common rashes include hives, eczema, viral rash, insect bites, heat rash, and contact rash.
- Fever remains the most common concern, prompting parents to take their child to the ER. A viral infection commonly causes fever. Your child's body uses a fever to help fight the virus.
- Sore Throat You could have some type of virus, if you are complaining of pain or discomfort in your throat, having trouble swallowing, or experiencing hoarseness and coughing.
- Minor Laceration Sometimes, it’s hard to tell whether a minor laceration can be treated at home or needs further medical assistance.
- Our providers are trained to assess the severity of the injury and provide the necessary treatment, ranging from bandaging to stitches, Steri-Strips, and Dermabond.
- Common Cold & Flu Differentiating between the common cold and flu can be difficult. Our in-house lab can quickly diagnose whether you are experiencing a common cold or the flu virus.
- Mild Dehydration When we sweat, cry, urinate, poop, or vomit, we lose essential nutrients that must be replaced with water. When it is not replaced, our bodies get dehydrated. Signs of dehydration include a dry or sticky mouth, few or no tears when crying, sunken eyes, less frequent urination, dry or cool skin, and drowsiness or dizziness.
- Home Visits and Wound Care service Available by appointment. One of healthcare professionals will provide quality healthcare in the comfort of your home.
